Shocked at the enormous price rise! We have been buying trugs regularly as presents for the last 10 yrs as we love them and want to support a special Sussex business, and Sarah has often done lettering for us for free. It is a beautiful product but at the new prices I'm afraid we will be thinking twice before coming again.

We completely understand your concern about the recent price increase, and this decision wasn’t taken lightly. Unfortunately, we had to make this change to ensure the long-term sustainability of the business, as compounding cost increases have affected us much like everyone. The adjustment allows us to invest in much-needed equipment, maintain our building, and hopefully grow our team by training additional makers, ensuring we are here for another 125 years to come.
Our commitment remains the same: to provide high-quality, traditional hand-made trugs at a fair price.
