The perfect trug for gathering those long stemmed flowers like gladioli, delphinium, lilies etc. The ultimate choice for the cutting garden.

Materials

Sweet Chestnut and Cricket Bat Willow, locally and sustainably sourced.

Care

Empty out weeds, damp soil and materials after use; store in a dry, airy place.

Once a year, rub some of our raw linseed oil which helps prevent drying, adds protection, and can even improve water resistance.

Visited the Truggery to choose which size I wanted and had a very interesting chat with the maker who then demonstrated how they were made which was fascinating, especially learning about where the various woods for making the trugs comes from. The trug, now just over a year old is in fine condition, has been used extensively and will last for many years I am sure. Excellent value.
