A rectangular, deep trug. Its sturdy squat shape lends itself to sitting by the fireside. It is immensely strong. This hefty trug is easier to carry into the house than a basket and doesn't shed so many bits on the floor.
The small log trug is typically used for smaller logs and kindling. A full large size log trug keeps my log burner going for a long cold evening.
